Major news for PS4 and Xbox One players as PUBG officially launched a new patch today that brings cross-platform play to both consoles. For the first time, players can bridge the gap and fight for chicken dinners across both systems. Plus, the 4.3 patch comes with a bunch of updates, including the new DBS gun you see here. You can read the full patch notes here, and read more below along with both trailers for the updated content.

Update 4.3 also brings a new method of tracking progression in the form of Survival Mastery, which rewards players for their survival skills in each match. A detailed review of each combat encounter can also be viewed to see how they and their squadmates performed across the battle. Survival Mastery also introduces the PUBG ID, a new way to show your survival accomplishments when interacting with other players! Customize your name plate, emblems, and even your character's pose to make your PUBG ID completely unique to you.

Also in Update 4.3 is a brand new crate weapon, the double-barrelled, pump-action, DBS shotgun. Holding 14 shells and able to fire off two shots per second, the DBS will be essential in late-game close quarters combat.
