Razer Reveals Their Own Wireless Gaming Mouse: The Mamba HyperFlux
Not to be left out of the wireless gaming mouse conversation, Razer announced this week that they're jumping into the game themselves with their own model the mouse in question is called the Mamba HyperFlux, and employs the same kind of technology as others with a pad that charges the mouse as it rests. However, the difference between others and theirs is that the mouse itself is charged instead of a battery in the base.
"While other companies have attempted to do wireless charging for mice, they have been unable to achieve true wireless power as their mice still need a battery to be charged. HyperFlux Wireless Power Technology is a game changer in the world of wireless gaming," says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. "Gamers are no longer held at the mercy of a battery or cable. Instead, there will be true wireless freedom with a cordless gaming mouse that's the same weight as a wired mouse."
Right now it appears the plan will be to sell the Mamba and Firefly HyperFlux as a bundle for a cool $250, and will hit the Razer shop sometime during the first quarter of the year. As soon as we can get our hands on one, we will do our best to review it for you.
