Retailers Showing Mortal Kombat 11 Delayed on Nintendo Switch
With everyone waiting for the Mortal Kombat 11 character reveals that are happening this week, people are starting to pre-order the game through several outlets. Unfortunately, some people have discovered that if they want to play the game on Nintendo Switch, they'll be waiting a little longer. The game is currently set to be released on April 23rd in most regions but for people in the UK, the release date will be three weeks later on May 10th. This is according to several websites including Amazon U.K., Amazon France, and even Warner Bros. U.K.
There doesn't seem to be a specific reason why this is happening, and there's no word yet from either WBIE or NetherRealm Studios as to why there would be a hold on the game in Europe. But with it stretching across multiple places, we're guessing there will be some sort of logistical answer down the road. But the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Mortal Kombat 11 in Europe don't seem to be affected, so that's going to be an interesting circumstance.
