SEGA Keeps Judgment Release in June Following Voice-Actor Issues

After getting word that the western release of Judgment might be in jeopardy after some issues with one of its voice actors, SEGA said the game is still on track. If you're not familiar with the story, voice actor Pierre Taki was arrested for the use of cocaine in Japan, which has resulted in him losing voice roles and a few games replacing him. Such as Kingdom Hearts III where he did the Japanese voice of Olaf from Frozen. Now SEGA has announced he will be removed from the western version but will keep the release date secure in June.

Taki was the voice of Kyohei Hamura, one of the more prominent characters in the game, so it's hard to simply remove him from a couple of scenes and replace him as a side character would be. Especially since the character was modeled after him, which they will also be adjusting. No word yet on who will be replacing him in Judgment.
