Shadows Of Doubt: Cheats And Liars Arrives September 25

Shadows Of Doubt is getting a new update while sitting in Early Access, as players will soon be able to add Cheats And Liars.

Indie game developer ColePowered Games and publisher Fireshine Games have announced Shadows Of Doubt: Cheats And Liars is coming out on September 25. The game has been in Early Access since late April, giving you a chance to play a piece of the game, but it isn't quite complete. So, in a sense, this is basically adding content to the game that is going to be a part of the final version anyway. The update will be completely free to anyone who already bought the game, as it will introduce an all-new case type: investigating an infidelity. We have more details and a quote from today's reveal below, as well as the latest trailer showing off the content.

"Check into a room in the brand new multi-story hotel and make use of its facilities – as long as you can pay the bill. Relax at the rooftop bar or marvel at the antique crystal chandelier in its majestic lobby – the hotel is yours to explore. Discover brand new NPC interactions and dialogues, including the option to directly accuse your suspect and place them in handcuffs. But be warned, your suspect might not always take kindly to being accused of a crime… Track down missing items listed on notice boards and return them to their owners for a reward. Discover an improved game experience with a range of quality-of-life improvements, including bug fixes, localization improvements, and support for NVIDIA DLSS."

"The response to Shadows Of Doubt from the press, content creators, and the community has been incredible, and I'm so excited to be adding new, free content to the game next week with our first major content update," said Cole Jefferies, Founder & Director at ColePowered Games. "With a very different type of case to investigate, I hope players enjoy checking into the hotel and discovering all the new features and improvements offered by the Cheats and Liars update."
