Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan Is The Next Licenced Activision Game To Disappear Digitally
Yesterday, it was noticed that The Amazing Spider-Man Activision games had disappeared from digital stores. It wasn't clear why, but most assumed it was licensing agreement lapsing. That isn't all that rare.
Oddly, it hasn't stopped there. Doubley oddly, it's happened to a fairly recent game. Platinum's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan, which came out in May 2016 has now disappeared from Steam, Xbox and PlayStation digital sales (via Eurogamer). The Amazing Spider-Man games are easy enough to understand, but this is a very odd move for a game that is only 8 months old.
I've reached out to try and figure out if there is something going on here, rather than just an unusual licensed game purge. I'll update if anything changes. For now if you want to pick it up, you'll have to go physical.
