Indie game developer and publisher Frogwares has announced that they are pushing the release of The Sinking City 2 back into 2026. No release date was confirmed for the Lovecraftian survival horror game, so sliding it back is no major deal in our eyes as we're all for devs taking all the time they need to make a game the way they want. However, as posted on social media this morning, the studio cited the ongoing war in Ukraine (where they are based) and the "significant genre shift" they decided to put on the title as the primary reasons why the shift was made.
