Todd McFarlane Says Spawn Could be Coming to Mortal Kombat 11

We haven't even seen anything from Mortal Kombat 11 beyond a teaser trailer, and already we have a rumor about a guest character. In a recent AMA on Reddit, Spawn creator Todd McFarlane was asked whether or not his most famous character might find their way to MK11. McFarlane's short response: "I believe he's on the way…"  Nothing else was really revealed about the character or the game during the rest of the AMA.

Todd McFarlane Says Spawn Could be Coming to Mortal Kombat 11

Just to be clear, we're kinda filing this under rumor because WBIE and NetherRealm Studios have yet to release a character list for the game, and the only three we know for sure are in it are Raiden, Scorpion, and Shao Khan. It wouldn't be outside the realm of possibilities, however, as Spawn has appeared in fighting games before such as Soul Calibur II, and NetherRealm added practically every major horror film villain they could over the past two games as playable characters. But it's so far out with no proof that the reality o fit happening just isn't there yet. We're betting he'll be a DLC character at best if he is added. But we won't know for sure until Mortal Kombat 11 is released on April 23rd.
