Each Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part Will Be The Size Of A Full Game
Final Fantasy 7 Remake came under a lot of fire when we first learnt that the game was being split up into several parts. Unsurprisingly, many would have much preferred it as one package.
However, speaking to Game Informer Yoshinori Kitase has revealed that some people might have underestimated the size of each part. In an interview, the producer said that each instalment will be the size of a normal game. He said:
It will essentially be a full scale game for each part of the multi-part series. In XIII, each instalment told the story from a different angle. It was kind of like approaching an unknown territory in a sense. Whereas with Final Fantasy VII Remake, we already have a preexisting story, so it wouldn't really make sense if that isn't encompassed in a multi-part series.
So if we're just looking at each of these parts, one part should be on par with the scale of one Final Fantasy XIII game.
That is pretty substantial, no doubt about that. With each part, a play through of it all could take quite some time. It also could take quite some time to release all of them too, so get settled for the wait.
