Gran Turismo Sport Has Been Delayed Out Of This Year
I had almost forgotten that Gran Turismo Sport was meant to come out this year. The game has been incredibly quiet since much earlier on in 2016 and there has been little fanfare over Gran Turismo's debut on the PlayStation 4.
Perhaps unsurprisingly then, the game is getting delayed out of this year. In a post on the PlayStation blog, Polyphony confirmed the delay, saying:
we realize we need more time to perfect GT Sport, which we've already dedicated so much effort towards since announcing the title. We do not want to compromise the experience in any way. While we cannot confirm a new release date at this time, we are more committed than ever to making GT Sport the best Gran Turismo game to date.
As always, delays are good, and more or less expected at this point, especially for projects that are so quiet, so nothing surprising here. Good to know at least, eh?
