PlayStation VR Bundle That Comes With Everything You Need Runs At $500
The PlayStation VR is in a really good place with its recently announced $399 price tag. Of course, it is not actually all that cheap, but relative to other high end headsets, it's certainly on the lower side of things.
However, if you don't have a PlayStation camera or Move controllers, it will be more expensive. A bundle complete with everything you need for the VR experience including the headset, the mandatory camera, the less necessary Move controllers, a copy of PlayStation VR Worlds, a VR demos disk and some headphones has been announced for $499. A pre-order will go live for the bundle later this month.
While still considerably cheaper than the Oculus and Vive, it does bring the price of everything a little closer. Having said that, I'm sure you could find a cheap PlayStation camera and Move controllers cheap somewhere to get a better deal.
