The Unreleased "Portal" Prequel Is Getting A Documentary

So for a while, there was a planned prequel to Portal in development at Valve, and for some odd reason, the company killed the project. Now, the company is allowing a documentary to be made about the game. LunchHouse Software published a reveal trailer today that they've apparently been sitting on for a few weeks for the documentary called Exposure. This is going to be a look at the project known as F-Stop, where they will show off what the company was working on and all of the mechanics of the game before it was canceled.

The announcement already shows us some amazing stuff as you use a camera to print pictures of objects in different sizes and locations. It looks a little like what Superliminal ended up being. If this truly was just sitting on the shelf at Valve this entire time, it makes us wonder why they never finished the damn project. This looks great to play. If this were a demo out right now, it would be doing better than some AAA titles. Sadly, we'll only get to watch and ponder what could have been for the Portal universe. Enjoy the first episode and see the crazy mechanics they were working with at the time.
