Carrie Fisher Had Already Recorded Two Upcoming Episodes Of Family Guy
Yesterday's passing of Carrie Fisher has hit a lot of people hard. After the initial shock, questions started coming up like what will happen to her dog Gary and what about her role in the next Star Wars film? Well, Gary will stay with Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd who also has a French bulldog named Tina… Gary and Tina get along well we hear. As for Star War VIII, the word is she had finished up filming already.
But it seems that not the only performance of hers we can look forward to next year. Variety is reporting that the actress recorded to episode of Family Guy, reprising her role as Angela, the brewery supervisor. Fisher has appeared in 20 episodes so far since 2005, the most recent having aired on January 3rd of this year. Premiere dates for the two episodes have yet to be determined.
Seth McFarlane, creator of Family Guy and the voice of Peter Griffin, said this of Fisher after her passing:
Carrie Fisher was smart, funny, talented, surprising, and always a hell of a fun time to be around. Family Guy will miss her immensely.
