Construction Manager for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Gives BTS Sneak Peek

Construction Manager at Walt Disney Imagineering Kristina Dewberry has been hard at work on Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area for 4 years. Things are progressing right along on the newest area at the Anaheim (and Florida) park, which is scheduled to open this summer.

In a new video posted to the Disney Parks Twitter account, Dewberry introduces herself and shows us around some of Black Spire Outpost on Batuu:

We do know that a lot of the construction (namely on the Millennium Falcon) has been completed, but there is more to do before guests can stroll through the new area.

The scale of the mountainous range is incredible, if you visit Disneyland anytime soon, the best views of Galaxy's Edge are from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Disneyland Railroad Train that circles around the park (specifically right along the Riverfront of America in Frontier Land).

We REALLY can't wait for the new area to open!

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set to open this summer at Disneyland, and this fall at Walt Disney World.
