Early Details On The CW's 'Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina' Pilot
Recently it was announced that Greg Berlanti, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and the CW were working on a spinoff of their hit series Riverdale. The idea is to adapt the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina with Aguirre-Sacasa writing the pilot, and he shared the first page of his script last night on Twitter. It includes details on who Sabrina is dating and some information about her birth.
Now, TVLine has far better eyes than I do and they were able to read the script page. It starts with Sabrina just prior to her sixteenth birthday, and we know she's dating Harvey already. It's also just prior to Halloween. Oh, and she doesn't seem to be keeping the fact she's a witch a secret.
From the script:
"I… wanted you to see where I was born, Harvey. Not in Greendale General, like it says on my birth certificate. Here. In this grove of trees. Almost sixteen years ago. … And, uhm, where I'll be reborn this Saturday night. On my birthday. At the stroke of midnight. In the middle of a — a penumbral lunar eclipse. The kind that only happens once every sixty-six years. … That's why I can't go to Rosalind's Halloween party this weekend."
Aguirre-Sacasa writes the comic series the TV show is being adapted from.
