How Disney World Entertains Guests During A Hurricane

As all of us may know, Florida was recently hit by Hurricane Irma, a category 5 hurricane (which was reduced by the time she hit Florida) over the weekend. Walt Disney World — located in Orlando Florida —was right in the path of Irma. Disney World has been in hurricanes before (they closed last year due to Matthew), so they know what do to should one hit.

For guests staying at the resort this weekend, Disney was able to provide ample food and entertainment for guests throughout the different hotels. From the looks of things, people weren't too upset about being stuck at their hotel!

Disney's social media team did an amazing job of making sure their Twitter was kept up to date to let guests and cast members know what was going on.

Disney's top priority is safety, but they were still able to provide family fun through the weekend!
