Dota 2 Becomes First Game On Steam To Have One Million Concurrent Players
At one point in my life, I looked at Dota 2 being played during an e-sport event and thought to myself, "I'll never understand this". Two years later, I'm dangerously close to getting addicted. The game is a rabbit hole I'm trying to keep a healthy relationship with, but it threatens to consume me frequently.
It seems I am not alone as the game just became the first on Steam with a million people playing at one time. The game had 1,075,464 players on today at one point, breaking the previous standing record that was, of course, owned by Dota.
And no one make jokes about it being Valentine's Day weekend.
