When a kid starts out in a series there are a lot of different directions that those actors can go. In the case of the kids from Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe has had the most interesting career since leaving Hogwarts. He's doing another indie and this time it's called Jungle. It's based on a true story of a young man named Yossi Ghinsberg (Radcliffe) and his friends when they follow a total stranger into the Bolivian wilderness and are left for dead. It's the kind of plot that sounds like something from a movie because you wonder how someone can be this dumb. People are dumb though and the movie looks utterly harrowing as Yossi and everyone else try to survive in a wilderness that is actively trying to murder them.
A group of friends trek into the Bolivian jungle with a fraudulent guide.
Jungle, directs Greg McLean, stars Daniel Radcliffe, Thomas Kretschmann, Alex Russell, Lily Sullivan, and Jacek Koman. It's premiering at the Melbourne International Film Festival in August and is slated for a 2017 US release.
