Future Witcher 3 DLC Has Been Priced Despite Being Six Months Away
Last week, a pair of DLC were announced for The Witcher 3. It's not rare for extra content to be revealed just prior to a game's release, but the distance here sure is unusually large.
The first DLC, Hearts of Stone isn't set to be out until October. Even more egregious than that, the second expansion Blood and Wine is currently set for the vague release window of 2016. There currently are no hints as to what these expansions will include.
If buying DLC for a game you haven't played yet sight unseen that may not be out for a year doesn't sound insane to you, you can purchase a Expansion Pass for the game at $24.99 (£19.99) on Steam.
For what it's worth, I am fairly confident CD Projekt Red will make great extra content for the game. I just don't know if I'm confident to put my money down for something that is six months away.
