The Golden Globes kicked off awards season on Sunday night, and Oppenheimer is the big winner, taking him five statues, including Best Picture- Drama, Best Actor- drama for Cillian Murphy, Best Director- Christopher Nolan, Best Supporting Actor for Robery Downey Jr., and Best Score for Ludwig Göransson. The only major category it lost was Best Actress- Drama, which went to Lily Gladstone for Killers of the Flower Moon. In the Best Comedy or Musical categories, the awards were more split. Paul Giamatti won Best Actor for The Holdovers, while Emma Stone won for Poor Things. Best Supporting Actress went to Da'vine Joy Randolph for The Holdovers, while Poor Things took home Best Picture- Comedy or Musical.
