Josh Brolin Thinks Deadpool Co-Star Ryan Reynolds Is Smart, Sweet, And Handsome
It would be easy to say that Deadpool has been a labor of love for actor Ryan Reynolds, who worked for years to not only get the movie made, but get it made right. And he has gone above and beyond in his efforts to promote the film and his social media interaction with fans. It's a bit awe-inspiring, really. Seems his new co-star Josh Brolin feels the same way.
Having joined the cast for the upcoming sequel as the time-traveling mutant Cable, Brolin spoke with EW.com about Reynolds and working on the film:
"He's an amazing guy, very smart and really sweet — and really handsome. He's a smart guy, he's the one who saw this and tried to get this movie made for eight years and was unable to. I think has such a perfect sensibility. He's a great producer on it, there's a lot to trust there."
Production on the film was shut down recently after a tragic accident that took the life of a stuntwoman, Joi Harris, performing a motorcycle stunt. Brolin addressed the issue when talking about the working environment on set:
"We had that tragedy happen recently, which was awful. We're all still reeling from that, but other than that it's been great. I think both of us are good at creating a set of trust and fun."
I can imagine it being very difficult to return to the set and trying to get things started again after the accident.
Brolin will likely be in two of the biggest movies of 2018, as he finally gets off the throne as Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War on May 4th, 2018 before popping up as Cable in Deadpool 2 on June 1st, 2018.
