Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – Dinosaur Protection Group Puts Out a New Video

The viral site set up by Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has posted a new video and a blog post that might give us a hint about what the plot of the movie is about. We already know that a portion of the project will be out getting the dinosaurs off of the island now that the volcano is about to explode, but we've been informed that is only half the plot. The second half is unknown and a blog post titled What Killed The Gene Guard Act? posted on the Dinosaur Protector Group website.

The first part of the post talks about the Paleo-Genetic-Resurrection (ENPGR) Bill or the Gene Guard Act that passed after the "incident in San Diego", aka the event of Jurassic Park 3.

This Act would extend existing dinosaur specimens the same rights and protections as other endangered animals, as well as restrict any further access to the islands owned by InGen. It also prohibited any further cloning of new prehistoric fauna or flora by the company, which was committed (at the time) to upholding strict ethical regulations concerning the animals.

"International Genetic Technologies is obligated to contain and protect the dinosaurs from further proliferation, through uncontrolled breeding or experimentation; or harm through organised destruction of their biological makeup, or living conditions." ENPGR Bill, 1997.

The post goes on to say that the laws were relaxed in 2003 after Masrani Global, the billionaire from Jurassic World, bought the island to reopen the park. However, after the "events of 2015", aka the events of Jurassic World, it looks like an inquiry was made against the park because of a leak.

However, just three months after the events of 2015, and separate from the inquiry into bio-ethical misconduct perpetrated by InGen and Jurassic World Geneticist Dr. Henry Wu, the United States Congress announced it would open an inquiry into the potential violation of the Gene Guard Act. This came after several employees of Masrani Global and InGen stepped forward to disclose incriminating evidence against their employers. It was unearthed that many of the dinosaur species present on Isla Nublar were new species that had been cloned before the law was relaxed in 2003, and the change was passed by the UHCS via a corrupt and willfully misleading process.

The blog post continues to say that the company basically bought politicians to get permission to loosen the laws so they could clone and breed new species under the guise of avoiding genetic missteps that happen in every species of animal. There are a bunch of "leaked InGen" documents that include some fun teasers from the previous movies.

■ The new species were grown in secret on Isla Sorna (Site B) and experimented on over a period of nine months, starting just 100 days after the company was bought by Masrani Global.

■ Incubation was achieved covertly and quickly to evade attention; only a select few InGen members were involved, and their names have been removed from records. It is unclear whether Masrani Global's CEO, the late Simon Masrani, was aware of the violation of law.

■ The research and growth of these animals were filed under "Early R&D for Jurassic Park's second incarnation" and simultaneously "Amalgam Testing."

■ The new species included: Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus, and Spinosaurus. All were abandoned on Site B, until the surviving animals were reportedly moved to Nublar to be housed as future attractions at Jurassic World.

■ A number of these new animals had originally been reported by the survivors of the plane crash on Isla Sorna during the summer of 2001, but the information was quickly buried by "bribed officials."

Here are all of the leaked documents.

So it sounds like there is a very good chance this movie is going to focus on those cloned breeds. There was talk in the last movie about using trained raptors for weapons and the idea of crazy cloned dinosaurs was the original plan for Jurassic Park 4 before the third didn't do very well.

Finally, here is the new video the site posted.

Summary: When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen and Claire mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, directed by J.A. Bayona, stars Jeff Goldblum, Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Toby Jones, James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, Rafe Spall, B.D. Wong, and Justice Smith. It will be released on June 22nd.
