Lena Luthor Will Go Big To Help Her Friend In Supergirl Season Premiere
We've seen in the trailer for the new season of Supergirl that Kara (Melissa Benoist) is hurting after the loss of Mon-El (Chris Wood) and is pushing away her humanity, focusing on her Kryptonian side. She's putting Kara Danvers aside to just be Supergirl. This doesn't play well with a lot of people, one of which is her friend Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath), who feels guilty for her part in forcing Mon-El to leave the Earth to defeat the Daxamites.
How will Lena deal with seeing her friend hurt and pulling away? McGrath told EW.com:
"While Lena's feeling good that she helped saved the world, she feels very responsible that her best friend is hurting, and she's trying to bring Kara back to the friendship that they had."
Word is that Lena is going to do something very big in the premiere to rectify that. That sounds like it's going to be more than her helping Kara set up a profile on the Arrowverse equivalent of Match.com. Will this be something to do with Mon-El making his way back? Whatever it is, expect to see a lot more of Lena this season, as McGrath was promoted to series regular for the third season.
