A couple of days ago, something that seemed to sum up how a lot of people feel about Sony's upcoming Madame Web movie occurred: the first look at the costume was leaked on an ocean spray bottle, of all things. There is always a chance that this movie could be good, but all signs are not pointing in the right direction at the moment, and it has already become a meme. However, if Morbin Time has taught us anything, you can't take memes to the bank. Sony hasn't tried to counter the bottle costume leak with a high-quality image of the costume of its own for some reason. Instead, they released two more images of star Dakota Johnson looking incredibly normal with a bonus spider web. Now would have been the time to come out with a trailer, image, or poster that had a better look not only at Cassandra's costume but everyone's costumes. The fact that these are the images that were released after a leak like this makes me wonder just how asleep Sony is behind the wheel.
