Mario Kart 8 Getting Animal Crossing DLC And 200CC Mode
Mario Kart 8 was one of my top picks for Game of the Year last December, so obviously I'm pretty excited about any new content for the game.
Last night during the Nintendo Direct a ton of that came our way too. The first was the announcement of the new DLC for the game. Much like how there was a strong Zelda theme in the last update, Animal Crossing will feature heavily in the new content. The DLC will come out April 23rd featuring a new track, specific vehicles and the Villager as a playable character. It will be $7.99.

Also, the race is about to get a whole lot faster too. On the same day, a 200cc challenge will be added, making it the hardest mode to ever grace a Mario Kart game. This does look ludicrously fast, and I can't wait to try it.
