Marvel Is Working on a Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors Animated Feature

Interesting news being reported by Geeks of Color. They're saying that Marvel Television is working on Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors, an upcoming feature-length animated film about a group of heroes that includes Squirrel Girl, Spider-Gwen, Captain Marvel and more.

This may tie into a report coming out of the NYCC back in October. At Marvel's animation panel, exec Cort Lane said that Squirrel Girl, "is coming to animation in some shape or form, at some point in the future. If that sounds vague, it's because Lane didn't actually tell us what was happening. He just said that something was happening, and he would tell us later, before the end of the year."

Well, it's the end of the year and that is definitely Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors poster…  We can count that one as done on Marvel's 2017 to do list.
