Netflix And Stallone Take On American Ninja Warrior With Ultimate Beastmaster
Netflix is jumping into the obstacle course challenge series business with Sylvester Stallone and David Broome from The Biggest Loser. The new 10-episode series, Ultimate Beastmaster, debuts February 24th and will feature 108 competitors from 6 different countries: U.S., Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, Germany, and Japan. Like the popular NBC series American Ninja Warrior, each episode of Ultimate Beastmaster will feature 12 athletes running through a specially designed obstacle course called The Beast. The nine winners of the nine individual episodes will then compete against each other in the tenth. The hosts will vary depending on the country the episode is in, but the list includes Terry Crews, Charissa Thompson, Anderson Silva, Seo Kyung Suk, Ines Sainz, Hans Sarpei, and Sayaka Akimoto.
