Nintendo Deny That The NX Will Run On An Android OS
Well that was fast.
Yesterday I reported that Nintendo's next console, codenamed the NX, was rumoured to be running on an Android OS, as per an article by Japanese outlet Nikkei.
Nintendo did not hang around when it came to letting that rumour roll around. When talking to The Wall Street Journal, a Nintnedo spokesperson said quite plainly:
There is no truth to the report saying that we are planning to adopt Android for NX
Well, I suppose that is that. A story, that didn't really tell us too much about the console anyways appears to not be true. We are still no closer to figuring out what the NX is, and I doubt we will for a while yet.
