The Punisher Season 1: 6 Short Clips And 2 Images Ahead Of The Friday Premiere
The Punisher is out this Friday, and there are already some reviews for it out there for you to read. For those of us who haven't seen anything yet, the official Twitter account has been posting clips of ~1 minute long featuring a bunch of different scenes.
We know that Frank Castle's family is his primary motivator, so it stands to reason we're going to see flashbacks and dreams of them. This one appears to be one of those dreams.
This one appears to be a slightly different version of the same dream or perhaps a recurring nightmare for Castle.
Yeah, this is the stuff I want. The relationship between Frank and Karen Page wasn't something we were expecting in the second season of Daredevil but there it was. The two of them were great together and it's so awesome to see the solo series take advantage of that.
More of the nightmare. We can only assume this is going to be part of some montage. Nightmare, Frank wakes up, probably kills someone. Rinse and repeat.
Next we have a scene that we saw in the footage from Comic-Con International. When the Punisher mows down motorcycle gangs, he doesn't take any chances that you'll survive the crash.
Finally, something we haven't seen yet. This is a flashback of Frank during his time in the military. This is also the first we've really seen of the fantastic Ben Barnes as Billy Russo.
The official Instagram account has shared two more images from the series.
Summary: After the murder of his family, Frank Castle becomes a vigilante known as "the Punisher", who aims to fight crime by any means necessary.
The Punisher, from showrunner Steve Lightfoot, stars Jon Bernthal, Jason R. Moore, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Michael Nathanson, Jamie Ray Newman, and Amber Rose Revah. It will stream to Netflix on November 17th.
