The Raw Women's Championship: Sasha Banks Vs Alexa Bliss

I need to say, Sasha Banks's Summer Slam costume was awesome, and very peacock-like. Reactions on twitter ranged from shock to amazement. Anyway.

Going in, I felt like Banks has the upper hand, but the two wasted no time in laying out a series of punches. Some even looked real. Bliss took the lead, possibly due to Banks still in shock that she got punched in the mouth, but Bliss was relentless. Banks was doing a helluva job keeping up, but Bliss has a mean streak like no other.

Bliss got Banks into a chokehold while sitting on the top buckle, before dropping her, and landing a few fancy knees on the body of Banks. Bliss has excellent ring awareness, but Banks wasn't giving her an easy win.

Banks found her second win, throwing Bliss over her head and onto the matt before delivering a knee to her face. Bliss was wearing out during the second half of this match, but she wasn't going down without a fight. Banks laid a number of knee kicks onto Bliss, but that wasn't enough to take the belt away. Banks finally got Bliss into a Bank Statement, but Bliss was able to get to the rope and get herself out.

Bliss was giving it her all, and even had a temper tantrum at one point because she hadn't won yet. These women were having none of it, but in the end Banks won with a Bank Statement. It was a dramatic show, but Banks really deserved it.
