It Seems Christian Bale Was In The Picture To Play Young Han Solo's Mentor Before Woody Harrelson
Last night we found out that Woody Harrelson was being eyed up to be a mentor in the Young Han Solo movie. Seemed nice bit of casting, and a role well within Harrelson's range.
It looks like he wasn't the first actor the team looked at though. Following spreading rumours, THR reporter Borys Kit came out and said that Disney wanted to get Christian Bale for the role. He tweeted:
Of course, this isn't confirmed, but there was a lot of noise about this even before he came out and said it. And THR are pretty well informed about the goings on in the industry. I wonder what happened here if it is true? Did Bale pass? Too busy? Hopefully one day we find out.
