So How Fast Is Mario Kart 8 200CC Compared To 150CC?
We recently learnt that Mario Kart 8 was getting a free update that would include a 200CC mode on April 23rd. This will be the fastest mode the series has ever implemented, which will no doubt make it the hardest mode in the game.
The problem is we don't really have a frame of reference for just how fast that will actually be. We've never seen it before.
Nintendo have now given us that reference though. In this comparison video we can see just how fast the game is compared to 150CC. It turns out it is significantly faster. I counted about 15 seconds difference between laps and 150CC was already pretty fast.

I for one am really excited for this. I need a new challenge in Mario Kart and this will fill that need nicely.
