Watch: First Teaser Trailer for 'The Spy Who Dumped Me'

This summer we're going to be getting a female-fronted action comedy film from Lionsgate called The Spy Who Dumped Me. Maybe not the most original of titles, but it sort of tells you everything you need to know about it when paired with the two starring actresses: SNL's Emmy winner Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis.

The title being pretty self explanatory, Kunis's character Audrey is being ghosted by her ex-boyfriend (Justin Theroux), who's actually a spy. This kind of explains the ghosting, I guess? But anyhow, the ex shows up and tells Audrey and her roommate (McKinnon) that he's being hunted by assassins. Hijinks ensue, and the two ladies apparently go on a covert mission in Europe.

It's worth noting that summer release The Spy Who Dumped Me is the first large feature for director Susanna Fogel, who wanted to make a Jason Bourne-meets-Trainwreck flick for fellow females.

"I'm a single 30-something woman with no kids so I feel excited to make a movie about people who aren't angling for that," Fogel said to Entertainment Weekly. "I think that's a lot of people I know, and even for women who have chosen that path, they don't only want to see characters getting married and having kids. They want to have an adventure with their friends, too."

Here's the teaser:

There are some other notable names associated with the film, like The X-Files' own Gillian Anderson, Outlander's resident Scotsman Sam Heughan, and The Daily Show's Hasan Minhaj.

The Spy Who Dumped Me is set to hit theaters on August 3rd.
