Texas Chainsaw Massacre Star Marilyn Burns Dead At 65

BurnsActress Marilyn Burns (65), best known to horror fans as Sally Hardesty the heroine and only survivor in the original 1974 The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, has been found dead at her home in Houston, TX, according to TMZ. The cause of death has yet to be determined, but it has been reported that Burns was found by a family member. An autopsy will be performed.

Burns went on to play in other movies like Eaten Alive, Helter Skelter, Kiss Daddy Goodbye and Future-Kill. She also became a regular on the horror convention circuit. She had a cameo in both the 1994 Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation and last years Texas Chainsaw 3D.
