Bleeding Cool sources who have seen early scenes from the screenplay of Star Wars: The Force Awakens as part of working on a marketing campaign for the film, have been gossiping quite a bit.

But what we learn seems very familiar.

A runaway droid that carries top secret plans that the Empire is after, who falls into the hands of a hidden young Skywalker, one with latent gifts of the Force…

Because that, like Luke, is who Rey is. And the film seems to be going for an almost remake feel. Beat for beat.

Though her being a Force adept shouldn't be a big surprise for those who have seen the recent Duracell ad.

Considering what the fans always wanted was to recapture the excitement and moments of the original film in the first place, perhaps JJ Abrams is really giving them what they want…
