Two Clips From Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World With Keira Knightley And Steve Carell

Some iffy humor abounds in the first two clips from apocalyptic comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, starring Steve Carell as a man who's left alone after his wife panics and runs when news of the impending end of life on Earth hits, and Keira Knightley as the next door neighbor who decides to join him.
In the first clip, which is rather charming, Knightley does her best impression of a quirky geek who's still impossibly upbeat despite their down-trodden situation.
The second clip is slightly less promising, with the talented likes of Connie Britton and Melanie Lynsky acting like caricatures and going for cheap, obvious jokes about what one does when the world is ending.
Despite the ups and downs of the promo material that's been released thus far, I'm still very much looking forward to this one and hoping it errs on the side of the first clip rather than the second. Look for my review closer to the release date.
