In a recent interview with VG24/7, Devil May Cry 5 director Hideaki Itsuno revealed that his work on DMC5 came at the cost of a seuqel to 2012's Dragon's Dogma Itsuno has been resonsible for many of Capcom's hits, including Rival Schools, Power Stone, Darkstalkers, Street Fighter Alpha, as well as the Devil May Cry series (barring Ninja Theory's DmC reboot) and Dragon's Dogma.
