Silent Hills will likely remain a mythical game, lost to industry politics and left for gamers in future generations to mourn It seems we never will know quite how the game was going to turn out.
I do, however expect we will find out more about the project as time goes on and details slip[...]

When Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro announced Silent Hills together, the entire games industry was giddy with excitement After playing P.T., we were even more stoaked for the possibillity And then as quickly as it had come, it was gone Konami cancelled Silent Hills due to rifts with Kojima and we will always be[...]
But, it's being picked up by a lot of outlets and it's a fun bit of speculation, so let's roll with it for now.
RoosterTeeth are claiming to have received reports from a source that Microsoft are going to save Silent Hills after the huge Hideo Kojima and Konami split This would make the game an[...]
When Silent Hills was cancelled last week, I'm sure just about everyone was disappointed Seeing a Silent Hill game designed by Guillermo Del Toro and Hideo Kojima would be quite something Alas, after the rift between the Metal Gear creator and Konami, it's pretty clear that there would have been no way to make that[...]
And we are done here.
Over the last few days, we've been covering the story about the supposed cancellation of Konami's Silent Hills First, Guillermo Del Toro said it wasn't happening Then Norman Reedus said much the same And even if you were the most hopeful of fans, it's now time to call the time of[...]
The Silent Hills teaser that was being made in conjunction with Guillermo Del Toro and Kojima has been on shaky ground since the former had his falling out with the company This probably isn't a good sign for the game's future.
The game's website now has a notice reading:

Of course the driver must take some responsibility..
As Silent Hill Downpour Anne's Story #1 shows us It's a dangerous game… maybe folks could learn from the Bad Piggies?
Angry Birds #4 set up something Monty Python And The Holy Grail might have found rather useful too…

Game play over cinematics.

Then you have Ninja Theory's Hellblade, the first attempt at an independently-developed game with AAA production values. The game itself (such as it is, since we only have the trailer above) doesn't interest me much, but what it stands for does. The Wachowski's brave Enter the Matrix, a game set between the second and third movies in the Matrix trilogy, only available on limited devices and creating plot holes in the third instalment for those who had not played, which was most of the cinema audience, and Christophe Gans Silent Hill which deserves special mention.

Siike Donnelly writes for Bleeding Cool;
Usually I come to Bleeding Cool to write about something charitable or more positive, but I'm no stranger to the horrors and twisted beauty of Silent Hill Sometimes you just have to balance out those positive thoughts with a trip to the darker sides of life.
Last night, at the Arclight[...]

The reason being is that after reading various reviews of Silent Hill: Downpour that already do those things, probably better than I could, I've decided to approach this from a different angle There's an element on the reviews from these major websites that's missing The one major element kept out of all of these reviews[...]
