What Marvel's The Defenders Ordered From The Royal Dragon
The fourth episode of Marvel's The Defenders takes place in a Chinese Restaurant called Royal Dragon. This is where Luke Cage (Mike Coulter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Danny Rand (Finn Jones), and Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) regroup after they first meet while fighting the Hand. This is also where Stick (Scott Glenn) shows up to met them and we get a visit from Alexandra Reid (Sigourney Weaver) and Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung). In other words, it's a very popular place.
Now, months after the series aired, the Defenders Twitter account has shared the takeout menu for the Royal Dragon. Read it closely, as there are some fun little entrées like Castle's Chicken Special, JJ's Bourbon Chicken (Hold the Chicken), Wor Journal Wonton Soup, Bulletproof Beef with Broccoli, Coffee Crusted Chicken & Mushrooms, K'un-L'un Kung Pao Chicken, Private Eye Peking Duck, The Devil's Spicy Eggplant, and more. A lot of fun Easter eggs on a Chinese Menu. If I remember the episode correctly, Danny bought the restaurant… so the name may have changed after that.
Sadly, there are no teases for characters we haven't met yet — at least none that I caught. A reference to Blade or Moon Knight would've made this even more fun.
