Julianne Moore Will Star in JJ Abrams-Produced 'Lisey's Story' For Apple

Looks like that upcoming JJ Abrams-produced Apple series based on Stephen King's 2006 horror-romance best-seller Lisey's Story just found their star- Oscar winner Julianne Moore.

Described as a "deeply personal thriller that follows Lisey (Moore) two years following the death of her husband", the series explores "a series of events that causes her to begin facing amazing realities about her husband that she had repressed and forgotten," so says The Hollywood Reporter who exclusively broke the news.

The series has already been given an 8 episode order, and reports state the hunt is on for a "high profile" director.

Moore,  King, Abrams and Ben Stephenson of Bad Robot will be executive producing the series, making Lisey's Story Abrams' 3rd seres for Apple.

No word on a possible production start date or release date yet, but we'll let you know what we hear.
