MLW Could Be About to Announce a Major Streaming Deal
Even with live sporting events shut down around the world thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, there's still a wealth of pro wrestling to watch on television. And one promotion's reach is about to get even bigger, according to a tweet from MLW founder Court Bauer. Bauer claims that a "transformative" deal for the company is done, teasing it will be announced soon. "The deal I've been hinting at is done!" Bauer tweeted. "Cannot wait to share this one with our fans, locker room, and crew. It fortifies our future. Truly transformative for @MLW."
In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said the deal could be announced any day and that it is for streaming rights with a "major carrier." Meltzer wrote:

MLW Fusion is available to watch live on BeIN Sports. Still, the soccer-heavy channel is usually only available only in select sports packages with cable, satellite, and streaming TV services. The show is available to watch on YouTube afterward. Bauer's tweet and Meltzer's report indicate that the new deal could make MLW even more widely available. Could MLW be about to stream on Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime? It's unknown whether the deal will be for MLW Fusion or for other content. Either way, it will be interesting to see whether Bauer is overhyping the magnitude of the deal or whether it will truly deliver on its promise of being "transformative" for the company. Hopefully, the deal is announced soon, and we can all find out.
