Star Trek: Picard S02E03 Images: 2024 Los Angeles Holds The Answer

Okay, admit it. There was no way you had the Borg Queen (Annie Wersching) helping out Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart) and his crew fix time to prevent the Confederation (nice twist there, by the way) from ever existing on your Star Trek: Picard Season 2 scorecard. But that's what we had last week, yet another example of just how dire the "test" Q (John de Lancie) has in play for Picard. And from what we can see from the following preview package for this week's episode "Assimilation," things aren't going to get any smoother. Because when time-traveling back to 2024 Los Angeles is the easiest part of your mission, you're in for a world of hurt. Here's a look at the preview images and episode overview for S02E03 "Assimilation," followed by the most recent edition of the Wil Wheaton-hosted The Ready Room aftershow that includes a preview for this week's episode at around the 31:13 mark:

Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode 3 "Assimilation": Picard and the crew travel back to 2024 Los Angeles in search of the "Watcher," who can help them identify the point at which time diverged. Seven, Raffi and Rios venture out into an unfamiliar world 400 years in their past, while Picard and Jurati attempt to gather information from an unlikely, and dangerous, ally. Written by Kirsten Beyer & Christopher Monfette and directed by: Lea Thompson.

The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. For season two, Stewart Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski, and Dylan Massin serve as executive producers. Goldsman & Matalas are co-showrunners for this season.
