"The Flash" Season 6 "Grodd Friended Me": Grodd Only Knows What's Happening Here [PREVIEW]
You would think the writers behind The CW's The Flash have something personal against Grant Gustin and they're taking it out on him through Barry – because not only has he some of the toughest adjustments to make post-"Crisis", but he's also dealing with threats from every direction. Now imagine doing that after your entire past has been rebooted – and you're one of a handful of people who know it.
So maybe we have to cut him a little slack (I'm trying to help here) when he doesn't recognize that "Iris" (Candice Patton) isn't his Iris – though the more eps this rolls along, the tougher it will be to make that argument… especially with what "Iris" now has in her possession.
Which leads us to this week's "Grodd Friended Me", which finds our Iris and Eva looking for a escape route while Barry faces two familiar villains – though we might have to reconsider our thoughts on one of them when they seek out Barry's help:
"The Flash" season 6, episode 13 "Grodd Friended Me": GRODD RETURNS – Feeling overwhelmed with all the changes since Crisis, Barry (Grant Gustin) conducts an experiment that goes awry and puts him directly in Gorilla Grodd's (voiced by David Sobolov) path. Expecting the worst, Barry is surprised when Grodd asks for his help. Unfortunately for both The Flash and Grodd, things get worse when another villain appears – Solovar (voiced by Keith David). Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) works with Eva (guest star Efrat Dor) to escape the Mirrorverse. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode, written by Kristen Kim and Joshua V. Gilbert.
