After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, Oliver successfully saved his city with the help of his team including former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), former protégé Roy Harper (Colton Haynes), street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez), metahuman Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) and Earth-2 Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). In the wake of discovering what his future holds, Oliver will find himself pit against his most challenging battle yet, one that will leave the multiverse hanging in the balance. In Arrow's final season, Oliver Queen is forced to confront the reality of what it means to be a hero.

With The CW's The Flash set to speed its way back to the network on Tuesday, February 23, for its seventh season, production has been chugging along in Vancouver- at least it was. Deadline Hollywood is reporting exclusively that a team member on the long-running Arrowverse series has tested positive for COVID-19. Warner Bros. TV's […]
If you're like us, you've been having a hard time keeping your "Arrowverse" scorecard straight. So The CW has Supergirl and Black Lightning ending with their respective upcoming seasons, a new Batwoman in Javicia Leslie's Ryan Wilder, the pilot for Green Arrow and the Canaries still in limbo, and a backdoor pilot set for Black […]
With less than two months to go until The CW's Batwoman returns to the streets of Gotham with a new dark knight defender in Javicia Leslie's Ryan Wilder (Sunday, January 17, 2021), the cast and crew are hard at work making sure there will actually be episodes to watch when the new year arrives (always a […]
When word broke at the end of last week that The CW's Black Lightning was ending its run after four seasons, fans weren't the only ones who were hearing the news for the first time that day. China Anne McClain aka Jennifer Pierce aka Lightning also found out the news on Friday, and on the […]
The era of change throughout The CW's Arrowverse continues, with word that Black Lightning will end its run with the upcoming fourth season (set to premiere February 8). The news comes only a week after news that Chantal Thuy's metahuman shapeshifter Grace Choi was being promoted to series regular and that the network was developing […]
It would only make sense that if The CW's second season of hit series Stargirl was going to have actor/comedian Jim Gaffigan voice the CGI character Thunderbolt, then Courtney (Brec Bassinger) was going to need a new member of her JSA to keep the powerful wish-granter in check. On Thursday, viewers found out who that would be […]
The last time we checked in with production on the sixth and final season of the Melissa Benoist-starring CW series Supergirl, we also ran down the changes taking place in and around the Arrowverse. From Javicia Leslie joining the second season of Batwoman as new lead Ryan Wilder to Superman & Lois and the previous DC […]
Earlier this month, writer Nadria Tucker (Krypton, Underground) took to Twitter to let everyone know that she was let go from the writing room for the Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch-starring series Superman & Lois. Tucker described a working environment in which she found herself "flagging #metoo jokes" as well as "defending the Bechdel test" to […]
Just yesterday, we were discussing how 2020 and 2021 were going to be a big year when it comes to The CW's Arrowverse, as Batwoman sees Ruby Rose leaving and Javicia Leslie joining the second season as Ryan Wilder. Meanwhile, The Flash earns the title as the "senior" series of the group, as the Melissa […]
By the time 2021 ends (yes, we will see 2021), The CW's Arrowverse will have gone through some pretty momentous changes. Batwoman sees Ruby Rose leaving and Javicia Leslie joining the second season as new lead Ryan Wilder. Superman & Lois and previous DC Universe series Stargirl join the line-up, while the fate of the […]
Looks like this week, in particular, is a pretty one to be a fan of The CW's Black Lightning. Earlier this week, we learned that the network was developing a backdoor pilot for a spinoff built around Jordan Calloway's Painkiller character that will happen as the seventh episode of the show's upcoming fourth season. On […]
The CW's Arrowverse is going through some serious changes heading into 2021. We have a new Batwoman on the way, courtesy of Javicia Leslie's Ryan Wilder. We have Superman & Lois joining the line-up and Stargirl most likely taking on a bigger role now that's officially CW- even as Supergirl prepares to wrap its run. […]
By now, you know that we've been covering the second-season production of The CW's Batwoman as the series prepares for its January 2021 return. One of the things making the job a whole lot easier (and fun) is the cast, with Javicia Leslie aka Ryan Wilder and the rest of the cast becoming the show's […]
While The CW's newest addition to its Arrowverse may be continuing with production, it will be doing so without writer Nadria Tucker (Krypton, Underground)- and she wants everyone to know why she was let go from the writing room for the Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch-starring series Superman & Lois. Over the course of a […]
Building upon its recently launched "Real Heroes Wear Masks" poster campaign showcasing various Arrowverse members such as Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), The Flash (Grant Gustin), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Black Lightning (Cress Williams), Stargirl (Brec Bassinger), Thunder (Nafessa Williams), White Canary (Caity Lotz), and Beebo (from DC's Legends of Tomorrow), The CW is teaming up with Boys […]
In some ways, it feels like we've been reporting just as much on Stephen Amell and Arrow as we did when the series was still on the air. Recovering from a back injury he sustained while filming his upcoming STARZ indy wrestling-set series Heels, Amell made news regarding his old CW stomping grounds when he […]
While the last time we checked in with The CW's second season of hit series Stargirl, we were learning the names of Eclipso and The Shade's real-world counterparts (more on that below). For this round of casting news, we're shifting our spotlight back to the heroes, with EW reporting that comedian Jim Gaffigan will be voicing […]
With production chugging along on the sixth season of The CW's DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and are still wondering what the deal is with the little green folks who abducted Sara Lance aka White Canary (Caity Lotz). This means a decent chunk of the upcoming season will find our Legends searching for Sara and hunting down […]
The last time we checked in on Heels star Stephen Amell (Arrow), Amell was recovering from a back injury he sustained while filming STARZ's indy wrestling-set series. Since that time, he's been hitting the ice baths and riding the same election rollercoaster we've all been in over the past twenty-four hours. Oh, and there was that […]
Even though Batwoman star Javicia Leslie aka Ryan Wilder and the rest of the team behind the newest addition to The CW's Arrowverse are hard at (COVID-safe) work putting together the second season, that doesn't mean they shut themselves off from the outside world. In fact, as social media goes the series might be one […]
