Vault Comics Takes Over Minnesota Public Access TV With Cult Classic Comics
Vault Comics is one of those little-publisher-that-could with a stack of comic book creators on the cusp of making it big. Indeed, some like Donny Cates do it between solicitation and publication. And on Halloween, the comic book medium is not enough for them — they are bursting onto TV to promote their new eighties-horror inspired Cult Classic shared universe line from Eliot Rahal and friends.
Broadcast on CCX Media from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota (Comcast Channels 799 and 20) from 8 p.m. tonight, the character of Rip G. Raves, The Late Night Horror Show Host from the upcoming Vault comic book miniseries Cult Classic will invade the airwaves for one night only throughout the Minneapolis viewing area for a special showing of the first zombie story, Night Of The Living Dead.
Cult Classic: Return Of The Graveyard Gang is the first series in Vault Comics' newest horror comic book line of books set to launch in 2018. Cult Classic centres around the town of Whisper — the most haunted hamlet in the upper northern midwest. A nexus of supernatural horrors. Midnight mysteries. And sci-fi thrillers. Set at the corner of infinity and impossibility, Cult Classic is the name of the public access horror show (Hosted by: Rip G. Raves) set inside the fictional town of Whisper.
This event is in honor of Halloween and drives into the rich tradition of public access in Minnesota (MSTK). This broadcast is made possible by the Minneapolis arts community and features local stand up comedians Shelly Paul and Adam Quesnell. Along with a special guest, Katie Romanski of the Minnesota Nice Cream Ice Cream Truck.
