Flare Gets Prose Anthology By Mougin, Hadley And Jones
The character of Flare has a very interesting history. She started off as a character created by Stacy Thain for the role playing game Champions. She made a few appearances in comics tied to the Champions game published be Eclipse before ending up with her own series with Heroic. The character has been both solo and with a team called the League of Champions. She's been in print on and off for over 25 years.
Heroic is now teaming with Pro Se Productions to prose in Flare: The Anthology. This is the second prose book the two have collaborate on, Barry Reese's Liberty Girl novel being the first.
Flare is Teresa Feran, one of four siblings born out of a Nazis genetic experiment. Each of the children ended up with powers. Hers being based on photonic energy and giving her the control of light and the power to fly. Her sister got the power of electricity while one of her brothers could change his shape while the other got strength and invulnerability. Her sister Olga would also join the League of Champions as Sparkplug. Flare appears in a twice weekly webseries here and in regularly published comic adventures.
The new adventures are being written by Lou Mougin, Brendan Jones, and M. Hadley. Jeffrey Hayes did the cover.
The Flare anthology is available now on Amazon.com in print or for Kindle.
