Pansexual Deadpool's Idea Of "Love" Different Than Batman's, Says Star Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds would be up for exploring same sex relationships in a future Deadpool film, according to the same interview with Variety that told of us Reynold's Oscar hopes for Logan. Unfortunately, Reynolds brought it up in the ickiest way possible, bringing Batsex into the equation.
What love is to Deadpool may not be what love is to Batman or someone else. I think that could be played up more. He's an outsider in every way, shape, and form.
We love that Deadpool is, probably, the most popular pansexual character in comics, and that Reynolds and the Deadpool team are all about exploring this in the films. But did you have to make us think about… this?
Or this?
Or freaking this?!
Gaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!
*shivers*
Thanks alot, Reynolds.
Reynolds goes on to say that exploring same sex superhero relationships might be easier for Deadpool because, while other superhero films have to worry about offending audiences in more restrictive countries, Deadpool is already banned in China. "We were rated 'F–k you!' in China," Reynolds elaborated.
Deadpool 2 is targeting a release in 2017 or 2018, so we'll have to see if Reynolds will put his money where his mouth is as far as exploring Deadpool's pansexuality.
And as for Batman, the last thing we want to know is where his mouth has been. Ew.
