Ewan McGregor Is Spotting Trains Again

There's been a lot of talk about Ewan McGregor returning to the role of Obi Wan Kenobi with all of the Star Wars movies going on. That doesn't seem very likely at the moment, but a character he has returned to is Renton in the long awaited sequel to Trainspotting. The film returns the bulk of the cast twenty years later. Joining McGregor are Johnny Lee Miller, Kelly Macdonald, Robert Carlyle, Shirley Henderson, and Ewan Bremner. Danny Boyle also returns to direct.

In the featurette below, McGregor talks about what happened to Renton and where he's been for the last two decades.

T2 Transpotting will open March 10th, 2017.
