Report: Drew Goddard To Write And Direct X-Force Movie Featuring Deadpool And Cable

The long-gestating X-Force movie has a writer and a director, and in a shocking twist, they're the same person! According to a report from Deadline, Drew Goddard will write and direct the film, which Deadline describes as Cable and Deadpool leading a team of black ops soldiers with mutant powers and really tight pants.

Presumably, Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin will star in the film. No word on a release date yet, but we'll let you know when more news turns up.
