Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's Rachel Bloom to Appear on iZombie

Now that her season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has wrapped up, and before she goes on the multi-city singing tour with the cast… Rachel Bloom is headed to Seattle. The walled city of Seattle that appears in iZombie. Bloom, who plays Rebecca Bunch on her own series has been cast as a "pretentious theater actor" whose death lands on the desk of Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) and his zombie partner Liv (Rose McIver). If this means that Liv eats the woman's brains and McIver spends the whole episode acting like Bloom, count me in.

iZombie is in its fourth season and has gone through some drastic changes as zombies are now out in the open and the government has trapped them all inside Seattle after constructing a wall around it. Now everyone is trying to adjust to the new normal and go about their lives knowing there are zombies working beside them. This includes Clive and Liv now that Clive knows the truth.

This will be the first time that Bloom has shown up on another CW series, though last season she wrote a song for the Flash/Supergirl musical crossover. The episode is slated to appear on April 9th.

iZombie airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
